The Charlotte Gift & Jewelry Show

  The Charlotte Merchandise Mart in Charlotte, North Carolina is home to the June Charlotte Gift & Jewelry Show on Saturday, June 27 through Monday, June 29. Show hours are from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and 9am to 3pm on Monday.

Categories of exhibitors include General Giftware, fine jewelry, decorative accessories, fashion jewelry, sterling silver, accessories and much more. About 5,000 buyers attend this show. So if you are looking for a smaller, more personable show, this is the place to go.  Especially if you have just started your business, I find that the smaller shows are much easier to maneuver and not as overwhelming as the larger ones. Plus you can still find plenty of vendors with great merchandise!

Fashion Market of Northern California - Summer Market

Over 1200 contemporary fashion apparel and accessory lines will be exhibited at the San Mateo Fashion Market of Northern California on Saturday, June 20 to Monday, June 23. The show will take place at the San Mateo County Expo Event Center located at 2495 South Delaware Street in San Mateo, California.

The NeedleArts Market in Columbus, Ohio

A free class, a Clippers baseball game, a silent auction, fashion show and 800 booths will greet attendees to the NeedleArts Market in Columbus, Ohio. Although the exhibits don't open until Saturday, June 13, set-up day, Friday, June 12, starts off with a bang including a Retailer's Meeting and Luncheon, a special speaker, the silent auction, the Teacher Meet & Greet.  

The show goes through Monday, June 14 and will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. Special speaker, Jim Dion's talk entitled "Thriving in Tough Times" is sure to inspire all and is free to all. Detailed information for the NeedleArts Market can be found by clicking here.  

International Beauty Show Las Vegas 2009

A total of 17,000 attendees are exptected to attend the IBS Las Vegas Show June 13 to 15 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show is open only to the trade of beauty professionals with credentials. The International Esthetics, Cosmetics and Spa Conference is included with your admission to IBS Las Vegas so you get two shows for the price of one. Prices are $45 for one day, $90 for two days and $135 for attending all three days.

Show hours are from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, June 13, 10am to 6pm on Sunday and 10am to 4pm on Monday.  Visit IBS Las Vegas for more information including exhibitor information and hotels.  

Art in the Park Festival in Columbia, Missouri

About 15,000 people are expected to attend the Art in the Park Show in Columbia, Missouri on Friday and Saturday, June 6 & 7. More than 100 visual artists are featured according to their website, "displaying a variety of media including painting, drawing, photography, pottery, jewelry, fibers, sculpture, wood, and glass."

The festival runs from 10am to 5pm Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday. They have entertainment including bands and magicians both days. The festival will be held at Stephens Park Lake. You can visit their website at: http://artinthepark.missouri.org/index.html.

Reno Bead Renaissance Show

A brand new upcoming show is the Reno, Nevada Bead Renaissance Show Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7 at the Ramada Reno Hotel & Casino. The hotel is located at 1000 E. Sixth St. in Reno and according to the website they have rooms blocked at only $49!

International Gem & Jewelry Show in San Mateo

 

According to the website there will be exhibitors from around the world at the International Gem & Jewelry show in San Mateo, California on Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7. The Expo Hall at the San Mateo County Expo Center will have a vast array of jewelry including silver jewelry, gold, diamonds, gemstones and even on-site sizing, repairs and cleaning.

The show hours are Friday from 12pm to 6pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from 11pm to 6pm. The Expo Center is located at 2495 South Delaware in San Mateo, CA. For more information click here.

International Gem & Jewelry Show in St. Paul

The International Gem & Jewelry Show in conjunction with the Great American Gem Show is Friday, June 6 through Sunday, June 8, 2009. It will be held at the Minnesotata State Fair Grounds in the Progress Center located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Approximately 80,000 people are expected to attend. The show includes jewelry, beads and gem show exhibitors.  Can you imagine how much sterling silver jewelry,fashion jewelryy, beads and more will be on display?

There will also be free beading workshops including basic stringing and pearl knotting, tin cup necklace and many more - sounds like fun and free? Just great!
