While traveling to other countries can be intimidating, it does not have to be. Research the customs and etiquette of the country you are visiting. Simple, right? When I first visited Thailand, I had to buy a guide book of the country. Now you can do a lot of your research online. Examples of proper etiquette in Thailand, for example, include: don’t touch people’s heads, this includes children. Don’t wear short shorts, t-shirts, etc. There are so many things we take for granted in the United States and things are generally a little different in foreign countries. So research the customs of the particular country you are traveling to and follow them. It will make your business trip a little easier.
